I always ask myself that is it a good idea to buy an old townhouse then renovate by myself? The renovation has been on and off for more than 2 years, and it is still ongoing. For sure it saves a lot of money by DIY but really takes time, and the worst part is you feel you are living in a construction site.

The renovation still has about 10% to be finished and I hope I can get it done this summer.

Hemlock Snowboarding

2011 • Posted by Kai @ 2:12 PM

Hemlock Valley Resort, is located 2 hours drive from Vancouver, where I spent the Christmas with my family in 2010. Due to changing road conditions, all vehicles travelling here in the winter are required to carry tire cables or chains. It was very interesting because this is the frist time I used tire chains on my car, and this is my first time snowboarding as well.

CN Tower & Sky Dome

2010 • Posted by Kai @ 2:03 PM

This the the second time I went to Toronto, but everything is still quite fascinated to me. I was located at the 42 floor of an hotel appartment in Toronto downtown, where faces to Lake Ontario with the gorgeous view. The first image is the world famous Toronto CN Tower & Sky Dome scene. To capture this view you have to take ferry to Centre Island and walk to the adjacent Olympic Island then find a good spot.

Second Sunrise Of 2008

2008 • Posted by Kai @ 2:38 PM

Yes, it’s the second. Why I took the second sunrise of the year 2008 because I didn’t wake up that early yesterday (was partying too late at new year eve). The wind chill in the morning drops to minus thirty something, it was freezing and my toes and fingers are frozen, but it’s worth because I haven’t see sunrise for a while.

Winter is actually coming later this year, but the temperature drops rapidly when it comes. It is not even Christmas yet, but the wind chill drops down to -40°C this morning. The good thing is that today is Saturday~
